EFQM owns Marjalization that allowed the resort to open faster and have it available to your customers as well, but what does this mean? The European Foundation for Quality Management (in English, European Foundation for Quality Management, EFQM) was founded in 1988 by the presidents of the fourteen major European companies, with support from the European Commission. In 2011 there were about 500 organizations, from multinational or national companies important to universities and research institutes. The Foundation takes its role as a key to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of European organizations, increasing the quality in all aspects of their activities and encouraging and assisting the development of improved quality.
As part of this stimulus, the EFQM (a foundation located in Belgium) grants every year the European Quality Award, using as criteria for deciding the EFQM Excellence Model.
The impetus for founding this powerful network management was the need to create a framework for quality improvement, taking as reference the Malcolm Baldrige model of the United States and, above all, the Deming Prize in Japan, but appropriate to European context needs.
So we differ, because we have quality and marjalization.
